# ICM: WaveWarZ

WaveWarZ is live-traded music battles: two artists battle, fans trade predictions on the outcome and earn in real time. Part of The ZAO ecosystem.

## What it is
- A prediction-market-style music battle platform on Solana mainnet, with a Base testnet (Base Sepolia, live Feb 2026) and a Base-to-Solana bridge so Base users can join.
- Two artists go head-to-head; fans buy into the outcome on a bonding curve.
- Settlement: a 2-of-3 judging system (human judge + X poll + on-chain SOL vote). Quick battles use poll + charts + an AI judge.
- Artists earn ~1% per trade, paid instantly; the platform keeps a small fee and most value stays in the ecosystem.

## Cadence
- Main events: artist vs artist, multi-round, streamed (X Spaces + YouTube + Retake).
- Quick battles: song vs song, weekdays (Mon-Fri ~8:30pm EST); special events + tournaments on Sundays.

## Role in The ZAO
- WaveWarZ is the always-on "front door / gravity well" for fans and players: outsiders (often founders with their own ecosystems) come to The ZAO and discover WaveWarZ. It is a top-of-funnel magnet, not a deal-closer or rails product.
- ZABAL Games is the parallel front door for builders; both feed the ZAO community.
- Distribution partners include Coinflow, Juke, Magnetiq, Empire Builder, Neynar, RAM/SongChain, and Privy.

## Traction (as of May 2026, snapshot)
- ~980 battles run; ~458 SOL cumulative volume; artist payouts flowing. Figures are a point-in-time snapshot - verify current numbers on the dashboards.

## In design: the 24h protocol
An always-on model: a ~23-hour entry queue plus a short live settlement each cycle, enterable by a person or an AI agent (via x402 on Base). Not yet live.
